Privacy Policy
VibeSingSong is an app made by Spectrum Whisper LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@vibesingsong.com.
The short version
- You don't need to give us your name, email or phone number to use the app.
- We use what you type (song ideas, lyrics, names you mention) only to make your songs.
- We don't sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time.
Information we collect
Account. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account with a random identifier. It isn't linked to your name, email or Apple ID.
What you give us to make songs. Song ideas, lyrics you write, titles, and your choices of genre, voice, mood and vibe. These can include personal details you choose to share, such as a person's name or a memory.
What we make for you. The lyrics, songs (audio) and cover images we generate, stored with your account so you can play them later.
Purchases. Your subscription status, purchase history and coin balance. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your card or bank details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions; it receives your anonymous account identifier and the purchase details Apple shares.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token so we can tell you when a song is ready.
Technical data. Our servers keep short-lived logs (such as IP address, time and the request made) to run the service securely and fix problems. To process purchases, RevenueCat's software in the app collects basic device and app information, such as app version, operating system version, device model and language.
Information about other people
Songs are often about someone else, so your song ideas and lyrics may include another person's name, relationship to you or shared memories. We use this only to make the song you asked for and keep it in your account. Please share details about others only when you're comfortable that they'd be happy with it, and don't include sensitive information such as health details, addresses or phone numbers.
How we use it
- To write lyrics, make songs and cover art, and store them for you.
- To manage your subscription and coins.
- To send the notifications you asked for.
- To answer support requests, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
Our AI providers automatically screen requests and results for safety under their content policies, and may decline to make some songs. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, and only what they need:
- Cloudflare hosts our servers, database and stored songs.
- AI providers generate your content: your song idea and style are sent through OpenRouter to Anthropic's Claude to write lyrics, and the lyrics and style are sent through fal.ai to music models (Google Lyria or MiniMax) to make the song, and to an image model to make the cover. They process this data to provide their service to us.
- RevenueCat and Apple process purchases and subscriptions.
- Apple Push Notification service delivers notifications.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If our business is transferred, this information may be transferred with it under this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, lyrics and songs until you delete them or your account. Server logs are kept for a limited time. Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as they require, and by us where the law requires (for example, for tax and accounting).
Your choices
- Delete your data: delete individual lyrics or songs, or your whole account from Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, songs, lyrics and files from our systems.
- Notifications: turn them off at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
- Access or questions: email us to ask what we hold about your account or to make a request. Include your account ID from Profile → Account.
California residents: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can ask to know or delete the personal information we hold, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
Children
VibeSingSong isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security and location
We protect your information with encryption in transit and access controls. Your information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
